It's gonna be a great day!!

Wow, getting the fuzzy out of my head is tough this week. I'm not sure if it's the time change or a combination of that and my late night on Saturday. Or perhaps it's just getting "old". Ugh! :)

I generally wake up feeling pretty rested. I go to bed by a certain time most nights and sleep well. Of course my boys like to climb in and snuggle up with me. I don't mind it as I know they won't do it forever and the time for them to stop being so snuggly with me is not that far away! But the head butts at 3am when they change position are never great.

I am considering adding a ginkgo supplement extract combined with phosphatidylserine to my daily routine. Ginkgo extract is made up of a mix of bioflavonoids that reduce free-radical formation. The free radicals are a result of the environmental pollutants and cause oxidative damage. Ginkgo can help with this as we age. It might helps us not forget the sunglasses on our head or the keys we are searching for that are already in our hand. Or maybe that will still happen!

I already take a great multi-vitamin from Rainbow Light. It is the only one I can take that doesn't make me feel nauseous. I can take it any time of the day and feel fine. This is what it looks like if you want to go pick it up.

Today is a lot of running around first thing in the morning, dropping my oldest off at Kindergarten and then my youngest off with my friend who babysits him when I work. Then off to work from 10-6ish. Lunch will probably be my beloved spinach salad again. I have a friend who says that whenever he eats a spinach salad, he calls it the "Tami Lunch". Too bad I can't patent it, eh?? :)  But it's full of great stuff and filling and keeps me satisfied for hours. Plus the entire container of blackberries and the green tea and water will drink should help me feeling back to normal in a day or two.

I used to be a soda drinker. Diet coke, Diet Dr. Pepper. I have completely cut it out. Well, I will admit to an occasional Dr. Pepper but that is very very rare. I got my friend to cut soda out as much as possible and she was cursing my name for the first few days and then she realized she felt a lot better. I honestly think it's one of the worst things you can consume. If soda poured on your car battery can get rid of corrosion imagine what it's doing to you stomach?? I know drinking a ton of water is hard if you aren't used to it but it does make all the difference in my energy level most days. In the afternoon when you feel a lull and hungry, sometimes a bottle of water and a piece of fruit is all you need to keep you going until dinner. So many of us go to the soda and candy bars. Trust me, that isn't going to help matters!! :)

I need to get off of here and get us up and around. But you all have a great day. I am not a huge fan of modern music. I tend to not know much past the 90's!! lol! But I do love that band Fun, out of Brooklyn. The lead singer has "Freddie Mercury" tones. I am a huge Queen fan. BUT, this bands lyrics are great. My current theme song is Carry On. There has been a lot going on lately. Someone consistently trying to add stress to my life through negativity, insults, irrational behavior and threats. I keep thinking of the lyrics of that song that go "May the past be the sound of your feet upon the ground, carry on". So carry on, I shall. Carrying the burden of rational responsibility is not always easy but it keeps me on my toes for sure!

Have a lovely Tuesday! Spring is almost here!! (p.s I'm not sure why some of my blog ends up in white! lol! I did partly write on a draft in word...and cut and pasted it. Perhaps that is the issue. Oh well!!)

God bless!
Tami
